Welcome to this blog about hard work, perseverance, and long-lasting friendships that made up the Silverhill community in Mission BC. Before we begin exploring the rich history of Silverhill, a few thank you’s must be rightfully given. Firstly I would like to thank Val Billesberger of the Mission Archives or being a wonderful host for those projects. Without her guidance and support, none of this would be possible. I would also like to extend a special thanks to Karin Edberg-Lee, who provided me with personal stories about Silverhill and documents that furthered my studies. Without the support of Val and Karin I would have been lost in the archives long ago, these two ensured I had the tools to enable me to create something I am proud of in this site; thank you for that.
